This courtyard has been successfully transformed and is now a destination where pupils chose to spend their free time.
Previously just a void space separating classrooms, this atrium now provides a valuable haven to relax, catch-up with friends, refuel and even charge mobile devices. The quadrant planting design creates a sense of individual areas while the trio of silver birch, artificial green wall and mock-grass individual seats, all make this feel like a sophisticated, yet fun place to hang-out.
Designed by Shelley Hugh-Jones and interior design by Nikki Rees.
